Analog Love
Stepping away from the DJs, Kings of Convenience was the first “analog” gig I saw here. Featuring local hero Erlend Øye, of the Berlin-based and -favourite Whitest Boy Alive, this acoustic set was a great contrast to the beats and bobs of technoland. Getting Giggy With It
Sadly, this post is not about the Fresh Prince (though Big Willie Style is - and I think sadly is the correct adjective here - the first album I ever purchased) but about what the timeless classics on that album opened my eyes to: music generally and, eventually, my gigging experience in Technotown.
