The Beat Goes Street

Reality 1 - Bytes 0

It’s about time I ended my unexpected hiatus from the blogosphere.  Writing for the real world has had me stressed and getting my priorities mixed up.  I’m back bound to even up the score.  What better way to do so than with a photolog of one of the best days I’ve ever spent in Technotown:  May 1.

Traditionally a day of protests and riots, 2010’s rendition was anything but hostile. Punks, metal-heads, hipsters, Mitte-kids, Kasting Allee’s models and folk from far afield melted together in the streets of Kreuzberg (I think ran into about every person I’ve ever met here) to produce a party like few I’d experienced before.  Time took a hike that day — and if the sun weren’t spoiling the secret, you would’ve easily guessed it was a 4am party, not a pm affair.  This town never ceases to amaze me.
